Escape The Stress: Outdoor Yoga Classes At ‘Milk & Honey Ciders’ In St. Joe
FRESH AIR AND A BETTER YOU
If you are looking for a great way to breathe fresh air, let all your worries slip away, and have some delicious conversation, ciders, and charcuterie, this might be the perfect event for you.
I attend classes at Shanti Yoga Center in St. Cloud. It is a great way for me to just stretch my body and be in a place without judgment, where everyone is reaching for a common goal; to stress less and get energized and refreshed.
I didn't realize that in the summer months, Shanti Yoga Center teams up with Milk & Honey Ciders in St. Joseph, and offers "Apples & Asana" on Saturday mornings at 10:30 am.
BRING YOURSELF
Bring your yoga mat, a bottle of water, and a towel, and take part in this awesome outdoor experience each week. If you don't have a mat, that's okay. Sometimes the instructor brings a few extra mats if this is a new experience for you. On weeks when there may be rain, they have another location onsite; so rain or shine, enjoy a beautiful morning of yoga.
JUST DO IT!
I think many people are afraid to try Yoga, for fear that they won't be good at it. I'm here to tell you that Shanti Yoga Center is all about YOU having YOUR experience. Every one of the instructors that I've met have been so great with all of the different people that come to enjoy yoga for a variety of reasons. Once they come and realize how great it is, they keep coming back; just like me.
CONNECTING TO NATURE
I grew up on a farm, so I love getting out in nature and being able to feel the wind on my face, the birds chirping in the nearby trees, and adoring all the greenery around us.
VINEYARDS
The Vineyards are so beautiful and green this time of year.
YOGA AND SUNSHINE? YES!
Meet Shanti Yoga Center instructor Lori! She is an amazing person who teaches Flow and Shanti’s Beginner Series classes. She believes in lifelong learning through yoga, connections, and daily experiences. Walking into Lori’s classes, you can expect to be energized and supported by linking 'breath to movement'. Lori completed her 200-hour teacher training at Devanadi School of Yoga & Wellness in 2022 and Les Mills BodyFlow program in 2017.
One of her favorite aspects of teaching is witnessing yogis fall in love with creating the “practice that fits” for themselves, and that's exactly what happened to me.
TIME TO TREAT YOURSELF
When you're done, it's common for class members to stop in for a glass of cider, and enjoy snacks like the wonderful Chacuturie Board from Jules Bistro.
If you've always wanted to try Yoga, just do it. I know that Shanit Yoga Center always provides your first class for free, and it's a great way for you to get centered. For more information on this super fun relaxing class click HERE now.
