Let's go in the future say right around the year 2154, where the wealthy live on a man-made space station named Elysium, while the rest of the population resides on Earth which is totally in shambles. One man......Will take on a mission to bring equality  man takes on a mission that could bring equality to both worlds that are totally polarized.

Elysium holds all state of the art medical care and those suffering on Earth will do anything to get to the space station, yet not an easy task as Jodie Foster plays the role as Secretary of State to the President and it's no holds barred for those trying to migrate to Elysium.

Only one man with the chance to bring equality to these worlds is Max (Matt Damon), an ordinary guy who's desperate to get to Elysium due in part that his own life is hanging on a limb,  takes on the dangerous mission and finds himself up against Elysium's  hard-line forces.

Should the mission be a success then he not only saves his own life, but millions of people on Earth as well.

There is a good share of violence and swearing in this film, I give this film a 3.25 out of 5 I felt the acting performance of Foster was not her best, Matt Damon carries the film so, needless to say; it wasn't boring. It's not a bad film but not a blockbuster either.
