The Sartell Police Department is holding their annual 'Shop With A Cop' program at the Sartell Walmart Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. On Facebook, they're advising the public to not be alarmed if you see multiple officers in the store, because it's for a good cause.

The officers will be at Walmart to help children who have been  identified by school teachers and school resource officers as needing some assistance this holiday.

The children will get a $50 gift card and be accompanied by a cop for a mini shopping spree. They can get a gift for themselves, family members or use the money to purchase food.

Funding for the program comes from a grant the Sartell Police Department received from Walmart along with donations from Bernicks Pepsi.
