UPDATE: District 742 to Start Fall Classes After Labor Day This Year

ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud area schools are going back to starting fall classes after Labor Day this year.

The school board approved their 2016-2017 school year calendar during their Thursday night meeting.

Classes will start the day after on September 6th. The last day of school will be June 7th. Winter break will be from December 23rd to December 30th, a mid-winter break will be from March 13th-17th and a spring break is on April 14th and the 17th

District 742 started classes early on August 31st this school year, after Labor Day landed on September 7th, the latest it can possibly be.
