In an interview with Britain's "Fabulous" magazine, Demi Lovato admits that drugs and alcohol were part of the reason she went to rehab in 2010.

"Promoters gave me drugs and alcohol in restaurants or clubs. They wanted me to come back so I would be seen there.  They were basically kissing my ass. I thought they were my friends.  I thought I was having fun."

That seems to be one of the many downsides of fame; not everyone has your best interest at heart. You certainly can't trust everyone you meet.

"Being a celebrity can be dangerous. Nobody says 'no.' That's why so many end up overdosing and dying. It could definitely have happened to me."

There is one thing she really doesn't want to admit, but did anyway in hopes of helping others with their addictions. Demi admitted that cocaine was one of the drugs she was doing. She was very depressed at that point in her life and really regrets the decisions she made. As sad as that is, I am happy she is finding her way into new light. Often times we forget the pressure they are under and one weak moment can lead to a downward spiral. Let's not fault her for her past but encourage Demi to be happy and clean. As for where her head is now, Demi says;

"I'm not saying I'm perfect, or fixed, but I am learning to love and accept myself.  My outlook is more positive and I am happy. I need to be secure in my body before I go back in front of the camera. Knowing I have bad angles and the photographer can take a bad shot makes me insecure."

No one is perfect, we have all made mistakes in the past. Keep your head up Demi, know that you have millions of fans wanting you to succeed!
