Pilot Arrested At San Francisco Airport Leaves Passengers In Shock
A Delta pilot who was flying from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to San Francisco this weekend, was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child. The arrest happened right after the flight had landed, with law enforcement boarding the plane and taking the individual into custody.
According to the San Francisco CBS television station, the co-pilot on the flight from Minneapolis-St. Paul, a 34-year-old Florida man named Rustom Bhagwagar. According to the USA Today, Bhagwagar was "booked on five counts of oral copulation with a child under 10 years of age."
The Arrest Startled Both Passengers And Crew
Passengers as well as the crew on the flight were surprised as law enforcement boarded the plane, as people were in the aisle getting their bags from the overhead bins.
Currently, Bhagwagar is being held in the Contra Costa County Jail on $5,000,000 bail.

A press release sent out by the Homeland Security Investigations San Francisco office stated that the investigation was still ongoing and asked the public if they had any information to reach out to them via an anonymous voice message or through email.
The Flight Seemed To Be The Only MN Connection
There seemed to be no other connection to Minnesota other than Bhagwagar co-piloting the flight out of MSP, going to San Francisco on Saturday, the 26th.
