Here We Go Again – Time Change This Weekend. Will It End?
We have been talking about this for years. The time change in most states. Like literally there are only two states that do not change their time twice a year. Those two states are Hawaii - because they are too close to the equator, so their daylight doesn't vary that much. And Arizona. They don't want to extend the hottest part of the day.
Those two things do make sense. But why do we do this? Is it really necessary? I have heard so many people saying that they really don't like having to change the time. Even though it's only an hour, it's amazing how much it really does mess with your biological time clock.
WHY WE DO THIS
Well, the origin of changing the clocks forward in the Springtime and backward one hour in the Fall started in WWI to conserve energy for war time.
Satirically??? As in not seriously? Then why?? DId it really conserve energy? And even if it did, why are we still doing it?
So by this reason, and the fact that most people would like it to go away, why can't we come to a decision to stop doing thtis. It would be great to just leave the time in the daylight saving time period. I do realize that congress would have to vote on this, and right now they have many more important things on their plate. But this has been a debatable issue for years. And I guess the debate continues.
So for now, this Saturday, before you go to bed, make sure you turn your clocks back one hour, or you will be super early for things Sunday mornng.
