Cut Melon Recalled Due To Possible Salmonella Outbreak

Check your fresh cut melon! According the the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, Caito Foods LLC voluntarily recalled their fresh cut melon due to a possible salmonella outbreak.

Foods included in the recall include; fresh cut watermelon, fresh cut honeydew melon, fresh cut cantaloupe and fresh cut mixed fruit containing one of these melons produced at their location in Indianapolis. The company also sells their products to independent retailers so you're strongly encouraged to check the labeling on all fresh cut melon products.

These products have been sold in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
