County Fairs in Full Swing as Summer Finally Shows Up in MN
Rides, food on a stick, beer, exotic foods, regional bands, farm animals, crafts and homemade baked goods. These things and more will be what you can expect to see and experience at a county fair.

County fair time is a great time to get out and explore everything that is Minnesota. Now that the weather is starting to finally feel like summer, it's great to not only see things that people have been working on for the whole year, but also to see people that you may not see other than at your local county fair.
Many people tend to go to the same fair every year. Some are free, some have a fee before you enter the fair. If you do have to pay, sometimes the entertainment might be on a scale that is higher that some other fairs. The entertainment is always good, but it's sometimes nice to not have to pay an entrance fee to see those show. Some of the grandstand events may still have a fee attached, so it's best to check that out before heading to the fair if you plan on attending.
