“Clowning Around Rodeo Style” At Rockville Rockfest 2011!

The 9th Annual Rockville Rockfest Community Festival kicks off this Thursday in Rockville.  The Royalty Pageant is at 6pm, at The 400 Supper Club, on Pleasant Lake.  To check out the applicants, or to get any info on the pageant, click here.

This is certainly not the first time we've been at Rockville Rockfest.  Check out the video of city boy, Ty James, at Rockfest '08.

There is a full line-up of events scheduled for Saturday.  Everything from the fishing contest, to the 5K, to the "Battle of the Bands", will be happening at Rockville Rockfest.  The parade is at 6pm, and fireworks will wrap things up on Saturday night @ 10pm.

The festival concludes on Sunday with the truck pull, at 1pm, at Pick Ups & Power Sports, in Rockville.

Look for the MIX 94.9 van in the parade (hope you like Pearson's Salted Nut Rolls), and look for the big purple MIX 94.9 tent all day Saturday, at Rockville Rockfest.
