News of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce broke not two days ago, but everyone from Adele to basically the entire Internet has weighed in with their thoughts on the split. For Chelsea Handler, who hosts Netflix talk show Chelsea, discussing the pop culture events of the day is her actual job, and she discussed the A-list breakup on her most recent show. Put succinctly, Handler is NOT a Brangelina fan.

"Brad and Angelina always said they wouldn’t get married until everyone could get married," Handler said, referring to a statement Pitt made the first of several times in a a 2006 Esquire article (the couple reneged on that idea and married in 2014, citing their six kids as a factor). "And I always said I wouldn’t get married until they got divorced, so I’m officially accepting proposals. I’m ready."

While the rumored cause of Brad and Angelina's divorce ranges from alleged infidelity on Pitt's part with his Allied costar Marion Cotillard, to differences over their kids to his supposed hard partying, Chelsea seems to believe the latter.

"There are rumors that part of the problem was that Brad was allegedly drinking and smoking too much weed. I wonder why he would need to self-medicate?" Handler posited.

“Maybe because he could have been spending the last 12 years at Lake Como hanging out with George Clooney and Matt Damon, instead of being stuck in a house with 85 kids speaking 15 different languages. Oh yeah — and because he married a f—ing lunatic, that’s why!"

Handler said this is all you'll hear on the subject from her — on her Netflix show, anyway.
"But we should all respect their privacy during this very difficult time," she continued. "So this will be the last time I speak of this...on TV. You can follow me on Twitter."

Chelsea Handler may be a tad biased in her assessment of the stars: The comedian is good friends with Jennifer Aniston, whom Pitt was married to when he first met and fell in love with Jolie on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
