
Central MN Earns Nominations in The Growler’s Best Of Awards
Each year, Minnesota food, drink and culture magazine The Growler recognizes the best of Minnesota at its Kind-of-a-Big-Deal Reader's Choice Awards.
While many of the nominees are Twin Cities-based, certain categories (ie. Small Town, Liquor Store - Greater Minnesota, Winery, Craft Beer Bar/Restaurant - Greater Minnesota) allow for some recognition outside of the metro. This year, several St. Cloud area and other Central Minnesota establishments and businesses earned nominations and could use your vote.
New London made the list of nominations for Small Towns (outside the I-494/I-694 loop).
Carlos Creek Winery (Alexandria) and Millner Heritage Winery (Kimball) earned nominations in the Winery category.
Milk & Honey Ciders (St. Joseph) was nominated in the Cider category.
Milk & Honey's Heirloom and Alchemy both were nominated for best Local Cider or Apple Graf.
The Boulder Tap House (St. Cloud) and Old Capital Tavern (Sauk Rapids) were both nominated for Craft Beer Bar / Restaurant – Greater Minnesota.
22 Northmen Brewing Co. (Alexandria), Drastic Measures Brewing (Wadena) and Pantown Brewing Company (St. Cloud) were all nominated for Best New Brewery.
Lupulin Brewing Co.'s Belgian Blonde (Big Lake) was nominated for best Belgian-Style Beer.
Lupulin's Blissful Ignorance was also nominated for best Double IPA/Imperial IPA.
