A couple weeks ago, three St. Cloud-area breweries partnered with Dreamfunders for a winter clothing drive.

Pantown Brewing Co., Beaver Island Brewing Co. and Bad Habit Brewing Co. participated in the first-ever Warm Wishes event to collect warm winter apparel for area kids. Each brewery hosted an evening in their taproom, competing to see which could raise the most clothing from guests who received a free pint of beer in exchange for their donation.

Pantown Brewing Co. kicked off the first night in their taproom where -- according to their Facebook page -- they gave away 68 free pints of beer in exchange for donations.

Bad Habit Brewing Co. in St. Joe and Beaver Island Brewing Co. in St. Cloud followed the next two nights, and collection boxes remained in the taprooms through the end of the week for any final donations. By the end of the week, nearly 900 items and almost $200 had been collected says Tara Prom, who headed up the drive.

"Being our first year with this event, we are extremely happy with the results and grateful to our community for their donations," says Prom. According to another post from Pantown Brewing, the clothes will be donated through the St Cloud, Sauk Rapids and Sartell school districts to children who need them.

Here are photos of all the donations raised in each taproom:
