Central Minnesota’s Least Expensive House Is Only $16,000 [PHOTOS]

It sounds too good to be true, but you can actually buy a three bedroom one bathroom house in Holdingford, Minnesota for a mere $16,000. Some people have cars that are twice that expensive.

The home was last sold in 2005 for $93,000. It was built in 1900 and has 1,270 square feet of finished space. There's even a one car garage on the 4,792 square foot lot.

So, what's the catch? According to Realtor.com the property at 511 2nd Street in Holdingford is listed in "severe hazardous condition." If you're hoping to take a look inside, that's a no go. Interior access will not be granted and the property is being sold as-is. Not sure what made the property drop so drastically in price or what happened.

According to their mortgage calculator, your monthly payment would be around $80 a month if you put down a 20 percent down payment of $3,200.
