You may have heard that there is a bakery located in the twin cities which has been chosen as having the best cinnamon rolls in the country. The bakery is Isles Bun and coffee.

They were voted by "World's Best Cinnamon Rolls" as having the world's best for 2024.
The award comes after thousands of submissions and a visit by the website. Fans say even in frigid temps, it's worth the wait.

So I thought it would be a great idea to find out who has the best cinnamon rolls in this area, or who people though was the best bakery. And there were lots of reponses, and some definitely agree on a couple of them.

People are loving Clearwater Travel Plaza/ Nelson Brothers and also Flour and Flower in St. Joseph; which, by the way, just was recognized nationally as being one of the best bakeries. People also love Cold Spring Bakery. They have 2 locations, one in Cold Spring, obviously, and also one in St. Cloud near Cash Wise. If you read the comments, you will also see that people also liked some of the lesser known bakeries that are definitely worth a try. And if you are heading towards Grand Casino Hinkley, make a stop at Tobie's for some great bakery items.

If you are looking for some of the best bakery items, I have found that going to more of a mom and pop shop will usually do you well. Anything that is commercially made will sometimes lack a little something something. But you do you.
