Summer in Minnesota is the best! We may be known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but we're also the land of swimming pools and splash pads. Central Minnesota is a great place to be if you're looking to cool off. Here is the summer schedule for our local splash pads and wading pools!

Waite Park's splash pad at River's Edge Park is now open for the season through Labor Day weekend. It'll run 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Sartell is home to two wading pools. You can find a wading pool at; Celebration Park and Watab Park. They have not yet announced their opening dates for the season. We will update you when more information is available.

St. Cloud splash pads are now open for the season through mid-September. There are currently three in the area including; Lake George/Eastman Park, Riverside Park and Westwood Park. Splash pads are open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m everyday. The Westwood Park Splash Pad is open starting at 3:15 p.m. when school is in session. The Lake George/Eastman Park Splash Pad closes at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays during Summertime By George.

St. Cloud wading pools are currently closed for the season. Pools at Haws, Hester, Pantown and Seberger park open on June 11. The pools at Centennial, Rotary & Spalt park open on June 18.

Sauk Rapids will open their splash pad at Autumn Ridge Park on Saturday, June 1. It'll be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Sauk Rapids wading pool at Bob Cross Park opens on Saturday, June 1. It'll be open 7 days a week from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Foley's Municipal Pool opens for the summer on Wednesday, June 5. It's located along 8th Avenue. The pool is open 7 days a week from 12:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. and from 6:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. The pool closes at 8 p.m. in August.
