Central Minnesota Camps For Kids: PART 6: True Friends Camp Friendship
I’ve been in search for some summer camps that might be interesting and fun for my teens. I want them to have great experiences to be able to find their own personal path in life; The best way I can think of to give them more experiences to make those decisions, is to find some camps that focus on activities and subjects of interest two them. In my search for the perfect camps for my kids, I’ve also found some that might be beneficial for you and your family.

True Friends Camps strive to teach campers new skills that they can utilize when they leave camp. Of course ,all staff and volunteers must pass a background check and a careful interview process.
The ratio of staff/volunteers to participants ranges between 1:1 and 1:8, depending on each participant’s needs.
Many people with disabilities don’t have a wide circle of friends. We see the outcomes at camp … true friendships between campers, staff and volunteers.
"We envision a world where experiences and adventures are open to individuals of all abilities. Friends are good, but True Friends are better."
