Caribou Coffee Renaming Large Drinks “Bombas” for Twins Playoffs

Caribou Coffee is just as excited for the Twins as the rest of us are. The Twins are trying to make it to the World Series, and during that time Caribou Coffee is renaming its large drinks "Bombas".

The name references the "Bomba Squad" of Twins batters who set a new Major League Baseball record for the most home runs in a season with 307 (beating the Yankees for that record!).

In addition to the name change, Caribou Coffee also will be donating part of the proceeds from the Bomba sized drinks to Twins Community Fund, along with an additional $1,000 for every home run hit during the American League Division Series.

The Twins take on the Yankees tonight in New York for game 1 of the division series. The first pitch is at 6:07 pm!
