A local St. Joseph business owner's online kids storytime segment has gone viral. Mary Bruno, owner of Bruno Press started reading books to kids online on March 18.

Since publishing her first video, she's had thousands of likes, comments, shares and video views. According to Bruno's Facebook post, she started reading to kids as a way to bring them some entertainment while they practice social distancing during COVID-19.

"I thought it might be fun to play some story time via Facebook Live! I will select a pile of my favorite kids books and hit one a day until we are in the clear," wrote Bruno.

Commenters from around the world have turned to their computers and mobile devices to watch Bruno do voices, dance around and dress up in character as she reads stories. She's even made an appearance as Elmo in one of her videos.

My two-year-old son Charlie is a really big fan of hers! She's a hit in our household.

If you'd like to catch one of Mary's readings, Bruno Press streams the videos live at noon every weekday on their Facebook page.
