SAUK RAPIDS -- A bomb threat was called in to the Mississippi Heights and Pleasantview elementaries in Sauk Rapids this (Friday) morning. However, authorities quickly determined the threat was not credible.

Sauk Rapids police believe the person who made the threat has made a number of false threats over the past few months to various organizations throughout central Minnesota.

District officials say they followed their policies and procedures, and had minimal disruption. The students at both schools were brought to the gym until the areas had been declared safe.
