Billie Eilish's latest interview featured a behind the scenes look at the creation of her new single, "everything i wanted," along with the touching moment her mom heard the song for the first time.

The 17-year-old and her brother and producer, Finneas, have been working on the song since November of last year. "We decided to make it about our relationship and how we help each other and do things together [and that] completely paved the way for the rest of the song," Eilish said in the video.

After the duo put the finishing touches on the song, Eilish's mother, Maggie, FaceTimed her and asked if they were done working for the day and if she can hear the new song when they got home.

Once Eilish began playing the song for her mom, she immediately began to tear up. "Everything makes her cry," Eilish joked. "It's so pretty," her mother exclaimed. "I hope this song gets played a lot... I love it."
