The Biggest Summer Fun in Minnesota Kicks Off This Weekend!
The fun gets bigger this weekend as TWO ginormous attractions are finally opening, and just in time for a beautiful weekend.
Bunker Beach - Minnesota's largest water park - and Big Bounce America - the World's Largest Bounce House - both open on Saturday.
Bunker Beach Water Park in Coon Rapids finally opens their gates at 11am tomorrow (June 8th). They'll be open daily from 11am to 7pm, weather permitting (it is an outdoor park, after all).
General admission is $19 per person per day (senior citizens 62+ pay only $15/day/person, while those little freeloaders under 18 months old get in for free).
If numerous trips to the water park are on your summer agenda, you can save some money and buy a season pass for $150/person (seniors 62+ only $120/person). It gets you unlimited access (during normal business hours, hoss) all season, plus a separate line for quick access.
Bunker Beach Amenities
- You can get a locker for your valuables starting at $7/day
- Rent a single tube for $3 or a double tube for $5 (up to two hours)
The World's Largest Inflatable Bounce House Opens in Shakopee on June 8th
If bouncing is more your (*cough* I mean, your kids') thing, then check out the World's Largest Inflatable Bounce House, which also opens Saturday (June 8th). This is a limited engagement, though: Big Bounce America is touring the country and will only be in Shakopee from June 8th through June 16th.
You can book sessions for toddlers (age 3 and younger), juniors (age 7 and younger), bigger kids (age 15 and younger), and even adult-only sessions (age 16 and older).
Your ticket gets you:
- a dedicated time slot to the World's Biggest Bounce House
- unlimited time in The Giant
- unlimited time in Air Space
- unlimited time in Sport Slam
- unlimited time in Octoblast
