The weather is warming up and it won't be long before severe weather season starts up again. If you've always wanted to be an official trained weather spotter or just learn more about severe weather, you're in luck!

The National Weather Service is holding free Skywarn Training Courses for Stearns County in St. Joseph  on Wednesday, March 27. You can either attend their 1 p.m. course or their 6 p.m. course. Classes are taught by Skywarn instructors who are non-National Weather Service meteorologists and long time storm chasers who have been trained to present the class. Each course lasts about 2 1/2 hours. You aren't required to preregister.
