Join The Fun At Beaver Island Brewery's Oktoberfest This Saturday

Oktoberfest is usually the last weekend in September. I found out why. It's really very simple - it's because of the weather. It's just simply nicer in September than it is in October. But this is even a little early for one, but why not? Let's celebrate anyway.

BEAVER ISLAND BREWERY

Oktoberfest at Beaver Island Brewery in St. Cloud is happening this Saturday. They have all sorts of activities that are Oktoberfest themed along with award winning beer! The day starts at Noon and goes until 10pm!

-Stein Hoisting Competition 2 PM
-Games
-Live Music from Griff & the Grifters 6 - 9 PM
-Up In Smoke BBQ
Up In Smoke BBQ will be here serving up some German inspired food!

Really cannot go wrong with any of these great activities and food!! I have been to this event several times over the years and it never disappoints. It's always a good time. Even just listening to the music, watching the contests and games and just hanging out is a great time.

OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATIONS

There are some other Oktoberfest celebrations that will be happening within the next few weeks. This one at Beaver Island Brewery is the one that will kick off all of the rest. If you are interested in going to more of them, there is a huge one in New Ulm next month that takes two weekends to complete. It's that big of a deal then, and I am absolutely here for it.

It's great to have some activites do to during the fall months when you can still be outside comfortably without freezing. This is something that we know is coming soon, despite the very July-like weather we have been experiencing for the last few days. That's why we live here - change of seasons! Time for a change! Autumn officially will be here on Monday, the 22nd.
