Avon Man Hurt in Hunting Accident
HOLDINGFORD -- An Avon man is hurt after a hunting accident earlier this (Saturday) afternoon.
The incident happened just before 1:00 p.m. near 14211 County Road 17 in Holdingford Township.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says a 23-year-old man was hunting in a wooded area and sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his left calf from a .357 revolver.
He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for his injuries.
