Homeless Population on The Rise in Minnesota
With colder weather coming area outreach workers are reaching out to the homeless population. The History of SCSU’s Hockey Center; Huskies To Host Gophers
The St. Cloud State men's hockey team is set to begin the season with an exhibition game against the Gophers Saturday night at 6 p.m. The game will be played at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Division I hockey was made possible in part by the efforts of Herb Brooks.

Are pigeons are real problem in parts of St. Cloud? It really seems to depend on who ask. During today's radio town hall meeting with St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis more than one listener expressed concern over pigeons wreaking havoc on their property.

Results From Unique Hunting Season in Minnesota
Northwestern Minnesota has a fair amount of elk. The elk hunt in Minnesota took place from September 21-29. Glen Schmitt from Outdoor News says only 10 permits were available to hunters and he says 8 elk were shot. Schmitt explains all 8 were male, bull elk.

The 3rd annual LEDGEtober Flannel Fest will take place from 2-7pm Saturday October 5 at the Ledge Amphitheater in Waite Park.
