We're still a few months away from county fair season, but that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy those delicious mini donuts right now.

Apple Cider Mini Donuts is coming to Waite Park this weekend, and we're here for it! They'll be in town for one day only.

You can get your sweet treat fill at Northern Tool in Waite Park from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 7.

These donuts are loved by people throughout Minnesota and are pretty locally famous. According to their official Facebook page, the people who own Apple Cider Mini Donuts actually started selling them at their apple orchard. People loved them so much that they decided to take it on the road and start a food truck!

They also offer their ever popular "North Star" hot chocolate with jumbo marshmallows and a Nutella or caramel drizzle. Um, YES, please. I mean, the weather is warming up a bit but it's still hot chocolate season (it always is in Minnesota).

Because of COVID-19, they're operating a little differently. They do accept credit and debit cards (Amex, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay and Google Pay) which is their preferred method of payment. If you're paying in cash they ask that you bring exact change.

Here are the prices so you can plan for exact change if you choose;

One dozen mini donuts cost $8, two dozen will be $15 and three dozen costs $20. The hot cocoa is $5 a cup.

They also ask that you maintain six feet of social distancing from other customers to maintain safety during the pandemic. They'll have spacing marked out for you in the parking lot.

Northern Tool is located at 230 2nd Street South in Waite Park.
