I'm a huge fan of food made in a truck. There's just something so "summer" about grabbing lunch from a kitchen on wheels. Maybe it's a Minnesota thing?

Since the Minnesota State Fair and county fairs all over our great state are shut down this summer, it's easy to get a case of the 'fried food blues' (a phrase I'm coining).

Don't fret though, you can still get your mini doughnut fix! North Star Donuts Apple Cider Mini Donuts food truck will be stopping in Waite Park this weekend for one day only!

You haven't lived until you've tried apple cider mini donuts. Mmm!!! They're so delicious! They're made fresh right in front of you. The process is pretty fun to watch.

You'll be able to find the food truck on Saturday set up right outside of Northern Tool + Equipment. They'll be hanging out in the parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

You can buy a dozen donuts for $8, two dozen for $15 and three dozen for $20.

In addition to the mini donuts, they'll also be selling lemonade slushies for $5...it's a match made in Heaven.

Because of the COVID-19 outbreak the doughnut truck asks that you practice social distancing and maintain a 6 foot separation from others. They will have distancing markers set up to help guide you.
