An Open Letter To Mother Nature
Guys, I freaking love Minnesota more than any other state. That's why I live here. I don't even mind the snow. Dare I say that I think it's actually kind of pretty. But, enough is enough already.
We've had too much snow this year. I mean, it's March for crying out loud. There's so much snow in my yard right now that I don't think I'll see grass until July. Not to mention, when it snows another 10 inches this weekend, I have no idea where I'm going to put it. I almost need a ladder.
So, two days ago I was in my garage. I just got home from work, opened up my car door and saw something move out of the corner of my eye.
I thought it was probably the wind blowing something around in the garage because the wind has been pretty brutal lately. BUT NO. I was sadly so very wrong.
It was a WOLF SPIDER. There was a wolf spider running around in my garage. I couldn't even believe it. The temperature was freezing outside, there were piles of snow everywhere. Why the heck was this spider running around my garage and not hibernating?! I've always enjoyed winter time because it meant that I didn't have to deal with BUGS.
It's safe to say I was triggered. Mother Nature is not only confusing all of us here in Minnesota, but even the spiders don't understand it's not time to thaw out yet.
Dear Mother Nature, please get your suitcase together.
