ALERT: Cheese Curd Festival This Weekend!

Just an hour west of St. Cloud, Brooten is home of the Redhead Creamery and this Saturday's 2nd annual Curd Fest. Yep, you heard that right -- a cheese curd festival!

In it's second year, Curd Fest will celebrate all things cheese curds, with live music, vendors and craft beverages.

The event is this Saturday (6/15) from 11 AM to 4 PM.  Admission is $5 (free for kids under 12) and will allow you to access Redhead Creamery’s renown pan-fried (batter free) cheese curds, as well as fresh curds, flavored curds, chocolate-bacon covered cheese curds, and curds on a stick.

Redhead Creamery will also have their award-winning artisan cheeses including North Fork Whiskey Washed Munster, Little Lucy Brie and Henry’s Havarti.

If you’re traveling a long distance and need a place to spend the night, they recommend the AmericInn in Sauk Centre, located just 20 minutes from Redhead Creamery.
