Aaron Raitiere Celebrates CMA Win While Performing In St. Paul
The CMA's were on Wednesday night, and they were held in Nashville. While much of the excitement was hundreds of miles away from Minnesota, there was one individual who was here at the time, playing a show, when they found out they had won a CMA. Just some Minnesota-adjacent CMA news for you.
Celebrating A CMA Win In St. Paul, MN
Aaron Raitiere, who has already won a GRAMMY thanks to his previous work writing with the mother monster herself, Lady Gaga, found himself in St. Paul performing while the CMA's were going on down in Nashville.

Aaron found himself being nominated in the Song of the Year category for his work on the song, you look like you love me. The other two writers on the song, also happened to perform it, in Ella Langley and Riley Green.
Joining the duet in the Song of the Year category this year were some other big names, like Lainey Wilson (Aaron also co-wrote 4x4xu too), Megan Maroney, and Zach Top, so maybe Aaron wasn't confident that he would be a part of winning a CMA, but when the moment happened, he wasn't in Nashville, but right here in Minnesota, where he reacted to the news.
As you can see from the post from fellow musician Hayes Carll, who Raitiere was playing with, he seemed to enjoy his win, as well as make some cash from a fan who wanted his shoes? (They must have been nice shoes)
Not Nominated For A Grammy This Year
Unfortunately, Aaron, Ella, and Riley aren't up for a GRAMMY when it comes to the country categories, so it might just be the CMA for Aaron when it comes to this song, until we get to the ACMs later in the year.
