9th Annual Minnesota Christmas Markets Start This Weekend

It's that time again - let's start thinking about the upcoming holidays.  Whether you are decorating for fall, or for Christmas, or a combination of the two, you will probably find what you need (or want) at any of the Minnesota Christmas Markets around the state.

There are 3 Minnesota Christmas Markets.  They start this weekend, the 9th, and continue adding another for each of the weekends leading up to Thanksgiving weekend.

This weekend, November 9th, is the Isanti Christmas Market at the Erickson Farmstead. November 16th will be the St. Paul Christmas Market at Union Station.  And the third will be November 23rd - Red Wing Christmas Market at Willow Brooke Farm.

Along with all sorts of fun things that you can purchas for the holidays, there is also a charitable component to the markets.  One aspect is "Santa's College Fund".

All artisans, makers and brands at the MN Christmas Market will donate 7% of sales from the event to the fund.

This year, there is also a pretty cool beer, or whatever, glass that you can get.  This is given to you when you purchase a VIP experience.  It's not that much, it's just $15, and you get the glass with a complimentary beverage of your choice, coffee, cocoa or soda.
