8am is Central Minnesota’s Acceptable Time to Begin Mowing Your Lawn
The people of Central Minnesota have spoken, and the consensus is -- don't mow your lawn before 8:00am.
Last week, I shared that I'd seen a guy mowing his lawn...in town...BEFORE 6:00am on a Saturday morning! I bet his neighbors were thrilled.
I took to Facebook to ask Mixers when it's socially acceptable to begin mowing one's lawn in town. Answers were generally the same -- 8:00am or after should keep everybody happy.
"8am"
"I say 8 am as well"
"8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in my opinion"
"8am until dark"
"I don’t start mowing until after 8 AM, but assume the immense heat played a role in this person’s decision to get his lawn cut early."
