2nd Annual ‘Rockin’ Recovery In The Park’ -This Friday
This Friday night, Lake George in St. Cloud will be alive with energy, music, and a whole lot of community spirit.
It’s the annual 'Rockin’ Recovery in the Park' & 5K Run/Walk, and it’s shaping up to be an evening filled with celebration, connection, and fun for the whole family.
ROCKIN RECOVERY IN THE PARK
The event kicks off at 4 p.m. with a variety of vendors and community booths. These aren’t just your typical booths, either. This is a chance to connect with local organizations, learn about resources, and meet people who are dedicated to supporting recovery and wellness in Central Minnesota. It’s as much about bringing people together as it is about raising awareness. There will also be a Fry Bread Fundraiser taking place.
5K WALK/RUN
At 6 p.m., the spotlight shifts to the 5K Run/Walk. Whether you’re a serious runner, a casual walker, or someone who just wants to cheer on the participants, this part of the evening is all about movement, encouragement, and community support. You can also win prizes and awards, so bring it on.
Watching people come together, whether to compete, walk side by side, or simply be part of the experience, really drives home the message of what this event is all about: Celebrating recovery and resilience.

GAMES AND DJ MUSIC
Then, as the sun starts to set, it will be time for some fun and games. From 7 to 9 p.m., Lake George will be filled with the perfect mix of music, including high-energy hits and family-friendly tunes to keep the evening jamming.
FOOD AND SNACKS
Of course, there will be plenty of food and snacks from local vendors to help everyone keep their energy up the whole night through.
MOMENTUM
But Rockin’ Recovery isn’t just about one night. It’s also about momentum. This year, the event marks the launch of the 'Peer 2 Peer fundraising challenge'. It’s a way for people to get involved beyond Friday, supporting recovery efforts and programs that make a real difference in people’s lives.
BE A PART OF THE MOVEMENT
Information on how to join or contribute will be available at the event and online, making it easy for anyone who wants to be part of the movement. The best part? It’s completely family-friendly and open to everyone.
Whether you’re there to run, walk, listen to music, visit booths, or simply be part of something positive, there’s a place for you at 'Rockin’ Recovery in the Park.'
