I miss golfing like crazy. It is all I can think about this time of year, mainly because it is one of the few things that really can NOT happen in the winter in Minnesota. My need to golf has even gone so far as to set up our Putterball mat in the basement. I need to swing a club ASAP.

Luckily there are a few options for winter golf around Central Minnesota. If you are missing golf as much as I am, be sure to check one of these places out.

1. Sta-Fit Sartell

Sta-Fit has two bays in their golf simulator area at the Sartell gym location. The simulators feature course play, driving range practice, and skills challenges. I've used these simulators before and found them to be fairly accurate as far as course play goes.

Cost breakdown:

Monday-Thursday: Members $35/hr, Non-members $40/hr

Friday-Sunday: Members $40/hr, Non-Members $45/hr

2. Shady's Longshots Cold Spring

A brand new indoor golf simulator that has normal golf options as well as mini-golf options. What's cool about this location is that it is part of Rich Spring Golf Club, so if you're looking for the golf ~*vibe*~ in the dead of winter, this is your place.

Cost breakdown:

Tuesday-Thursday: $35 an hour
Friday-Sunday: $45 an hour

3. Duck's Sports Bar & Grill St. Cloud

Duck's Sports Bar & Grill has three state-of-the-art golf simulators with over 65 golf courses to choose from, including Andrews, Pebble Beach, Torrey Pines and many more. They do take walk-ins but recommend calling first to schedule a tee time.

Cost: $36 per hour every day.
