3 Ingredient Brownies For The Health Conscious
My sister is going to school for health and nutrition at College of Saint Benedict. So, often times I'm her healthy recipe guinea pig--a title I welcome because I'm trying to be more healthy. I love sweets. I have the biggest sweet tooth ever. So, she decided to make me three ingredient brownies. I was so skeptical at first, but OH MY GOSH are they amazing. And yes, the picture above is the real photo of the brownies from this recipe.
Now, obviously they don't taste 100 percent like the chocolate brownies I've always eaten my whole life but, they're good in their own brownie way. So, here's her recipe. Try them for yourself. I promise you'll like them.
Ingredients:
2 bananas
2 cups of peanut butter
1/2 cup of cocoa powder
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Add in all of the ingredients into a mixer. We blended these ingredients together until they had the consistency of brownies. It will look like thick brownie batter by the time it's mixed.
Add the mixture into a 9x9 pan and bake for 15-18 minutes. Make sure you don't over bake them because the brownies will get too crumbly if over baked.
My sister also made a protein frosting. She added in two scoops of peanut butter cup protein powder, 2 tables spoons of honey, peanut butter and a little water to give it the consistency of frosting.
These brownies are healthy, packed with protein and taste so amazing. They are brownies you can enjoy guilt free.
