I've had the pleasure of getting to know more about BriAnna Rose Kruzel over the last several weeks. The more I learn about her, the more I understand why her death is such a tremendous loss for our community. She passed away unexpectedly at the age of 18 on September 28th 2013. Bri loved life and loved central Minnesota. She was very active in Girls Scouts, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Community Ed Dance. She dedicated hundreds of hours volunteering wherever and whenever needed.

Bri's family wanted to find a way to continue celebrating her birthday every year and at the same time honor her memory, so together they created "What Would Bri Do." Last year, the fund supported two $500 scholarships for students at Sartell High School, fabric for Big Brothers Big Sisters to make scarves for the Disabled American Vets and purchased a sound system for the Sartell-St. Stephen Community Ed Dance Program.

Tami (Bri's mom) told me this song reminds her of the young lady who loved the color yellow, smiling, giggling, big jewelry and country music.
