19-Foot-Tall Snowman Built an Hour from St. Cloud

Winter weather is welcome in this Albertville Minnesota neighborhood. Fox 9 News shared the photo saying:

WOW: Neighbors in Albertville, Minnesota built this 19-foot snowman!

Wow is correct. This smiling snowman is huge! This guy nearly has full trees for arms and a hat that could fit over an entire family. (The hat is made of a frame of 2x3's and then wrapped in landscape fabric.)

Attention in the neighborhood isn't all this snowman received, he has become quite the hit online too. Over 10,000 people reacted to Fox 9's post, and it has been shared over 4,000 times.

In the comments, people started leaving pictures of their own snowmen, giant and standard size. A mom sculpted her kid their own Olaf, kids playing together to build their own, and giant ones also making appearances in Fairbault and Hill City. There is even a giant snow rubber ducky in St. Francis this winter.
