Some things were meant to be together: peanut butter and chocolate, strawberries and cream, chips and dip…but pork and Gummy Bears?!

Grundhofer's Old-Fashion Meats in Hugo makes a Gummy Bear brat and actually sells hundreds of pounds of them every week. KARE 11 did a story on this perplexing combination and I thought it was worth sharing.

The Meat market is known for their brats with about 40 varieties and owner Spencer Grundhofer is thinking up new combinations that sound just as weird. Grape Kool-Aid brat anyone?

What’s your favorite out-of-the-ordinary brat? I like the pineapple brat from McDonald’s Meats in Clear Lake and they’ve got a new one - Chicken Turkey Sun Dried Tomato and Mozzarella Bratwurst – that sounds pretty enticing.
