This Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Thursday's afternoon commute will be impacted. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. The latest road conditions can be found at 511mn.org by calling 511.

From the National Weather Service this Evening: Our active weather pattern looks to continue with accumulating snowfall expected Thursday afternoon into Friday morning and again Saturday afternoon into Sunday. A widespread 2-4 inches of snow is expected from the first round. There is more uncertainty with track and amounts for the weekend system, though the weekend system has a greater high end potential.
