Wine, Wine, Everywhere Theres Wine [PHOTOS]

I love a good glass of wine. Thankfully our friends are fans as well and its made for some fun gatherings over the past couple of weeks.  Last weekend we attended the beautiful wedding of our neighbors Dave & Sam.  Take a look at what they had on display when you first walked in.

How cool is this?  They asked guests to write notes of support and put them in the different wine cases. The plan is to read the different notes over the years, as they celebrate "milestone" anniversaries.  I so would have stole this idea if I wasn't already married.  Sam definitely needs to plan weddings for a living.  She's a walking / talking Pinterest Board.

One place we wanted to take my mother in law to before she headed back home to Des Moines was the Millner Heritage Winery in Kimball.  Tracy and I fell in love with this place last year and couldn't wait to get back for another tour.  Jon and the staff didn't dissapoint and gave us total VIP treatment.

You don't get gorgeous views like this just anywhere.  Millner is very proud to share the history of the different grapes they grow and even takes you inside the winery to see how the wine is actually made.

Did I mention after doing some sampling, we all ended up leaving with a case of their award-winning wine (Little Iza recently won the Governors Cup).  They have their annual grape stomp / Oktoberfest coming up this weekend if your interested. A cool tie between the wedding and the winery, is we gave a bottle of Little Iza to the happy couple as a gift.

Our good friends Todd and Jen went along to the winery as well.  Jen loves wine just as much as we do and was in heaven getting this close to the barrels.  Sorry the pic is a bit blurry, this was taken after we did the "wine testing" lol.
