Will Smith Set to Star in the Live-Action Dumbo Movie

The next Disney classic to be re-imagined into a live action movie is Dumbo, the movie about the circus elephant with the abnormally large ears. At the moment it is sounding like Tim Burton (The Nightmare Before Christmas, Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children) will be the director and is going to put his own twist on the story.

Currently, Will Smith is in talks to be the lead role in the movie. They want Smith to play the father of the children that befriend Dumbo, and we all know Will Smith plays a great dad-role. Rumors have also been circling the internet saying they want Tom Hanks to play the villain in the film!

Hopefully Will Smith's performance in Dumbo will be more convincing than his wax figure!
