The Centers for Disease Control has named the most dangerous room in your home and you spend a year and a half of your life in this room. Yikes!

According to the Centers for Disease Control, the most dangerous room in your house is your bathroom.

According to the CDC's data from 2008, most accidents happen in the bathroom; including 80 percent of those accidents being slipping and falling, mostly getting in and out of the shower or tub, but you're four times more likely to slip getting out than you are getting in. Around 234 thousand people hurt themselves in the bathroom and many were so bad they had to go to the emergency room to be treated for their injuries.

The bathroom beat out the kitchen, the garage and the basement as the most dangerous room in the house and I find that hard to believe. I'm pretty rambunctious in the kitchen. Especially when I'm trying a new recipe and have to follow directions. As dinner is finishing, Glen is banished from the kitchen. I'm flinging hot pans around or flying from counter to counter to get everything done. I tell him to have the table set before I'm done or after everything is finished and resting before I serve it. In our basement, we have a music studio and I am learning the drums. Drum sticks hurt. Enough said.

What room do you hurt yourself most in?
