The Made in Minnesota Expo is this weekend at the Civic Center and I can't wait to sink my sweet tooth into some of the businesses who will be on hand.

Here's some of the sweetest businesses to keep an eye out for:

1. Lolligobs - The Denaros family makes their products in St. Louis Park and they specialize in old-fashioned hard candies.  No high fructose corn syrup and free from gluten, dairy, nuts and soy.  The website says their candy is extra dense, so one piece can last up to 2 hours!  It's like one of those Everlasting Gobstoppers from the Willy Wonka movies.  With flavors like root beer, creamsicle,  peach and pina colada, I can't wait to try these out.

2. Nature's Fury - Not a candy, but a juice.  This Minneapolis based company specializes in beverages for health conscience consumers who are looking for an easy way to mix nutrition with refreshment.  Each NutriDrink is packed with 100% of the recommended daily vitamins A, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, and D.  Plus they throw in electrolytes, antioxidants, and pure cane sugar for sweetening.  The flavors sound yummy.  Peach Mango, Grape, Berry, Strawberry Banana and Lemonade Tea.  I'm not a big fan of daily vitamins in the form of pill, because they turn my stomach, so I'm looking forward to seeing if this could be a good option to add into my diet.

3. The Sweet Depot - Family owned and operated, this business based in Litchfield makes gourmet candy.  They use a slow cooking method which allows them to use fresh creamy butter, brown sugar, vanilla, cream... FRESH ingredients.  They test every batch to insure quality (sounds like the most amazing job ever lol).  They also specialize in customized gifts, which will be perfect for the holiday shopping I plan to get done!

See you Saturday at the Made in Minnesota Expo!
