Only a teenager, Zach Sobiech inspired thousands of Minnesotans with his song "Clouds" (watch the video above) he wrote while battling a rare form of bone cancer called, Osteosarcoma and now, Warner Bros is developing the inspiring story into a movie.

According to Bring Me The News, the movie will be based on 'Fly A Little Higher', written by Sobiech's mother, Laura. The memoir, written in 2014, details her son's battle with osteosarcoma.

Zach contracted the disease in 2009 at age 14. He died in 2013.

Warner Bros. hasn't give too much detail on the upcoming project, but they did pick up the rights to Mrs. Sobiech's book, and it intends to turn into a movie entitled “Clouds”.

Variety has reported that Justin Baldoni, star of "Jane The Virgin", is attached to direct and produce. Baldoni was the creator behind the digital documentary series, “My Last Days”. With over 14-million-views, Zach Sobiech’s story aired as the final episode of the first season.
