Welcome to Second Winter, the magical time of year where it is supposed to be Spring but it is definitely still consistently snowing. The good news is that we can fire up our crock pots and warm the whole house up with delicious, minimal work meals. Here are a few of my favorites that will be getting me through this cold snap.

My house likes this better than actual lasagna. Layer uncooked lasagna noodles, tomato sauce, cheese, and cooked hamburger throughout a crock pot, turn it on high for 4 hours and get ready to send your taste buds on a flavor adventure to Italy! Get the recipe I use here!

Got a ham from Coborns that needs to be used? Put it in a crock pot with 3 cups of brown sugar, and a 20 oz can of pineapple tidbits or chunks with juice. Dump it all in and be prepared for the best ham sandwiches of your life. Get the recipe I use here!

This one is great because the kids will love it and it is totally customizable! Uncooked macaroni, milk, and different cheeses are all you need! Plus whatever toppings you choose to add. Get the recipe I use here!

Chicken Tacos

This one comes straight from my kitchen. 4 or 5 chicken breasts, 1 package of taco seasoning, 1 package of Hidden Valley ranch seasoning mix, and 1 10 oz can of enchilada sauce go into a crock pot for 4 hours on high. Shred the meat and then serve in soft or crunchy taco shells with your favorite toppings!
