WHAT'S HAPPENING

Emily's Place will be opening in January, and will be the second transitional housing facility Catholic Charities operates for women. Catholic Charities Domus Transitional Housing opened in the 1980s for homeless women with children.

Both places have a similar program structure. The facilities are for homeless or at risk homeless women. Women that utilize the facility will be required to pay rent, save for the future, and meet with staff regularly to develop long term stability goals.  The goal is to help all of the women find permanent housing within one year. All women living in the home must be alcohol and chemical free, and each woman must volunteer monthly, and meet with staff to create short and long term goals.

VIRTUAL HOUSEWARMING PARTY

Catholic Charities is inviting the public to help ready the facility by hosting a Virtual Housewarming party. Staff have registered at Target, so the exact items needed can be purchased. A link to the registry can be found at by clicking HERE.
