ST. CLOUD -- The ugliest trend this season is hanging on the racks at Ragstock.

Ugly Christmas sweaters are in high demand this year. Major department stores such as Kohl's, Target, JCPenney and Macy's now carry a selection of ugly Christmas sweaters but stores like Ragstock have been apart of the ugly sweater business for years.

Assistant store manager of Ragstock in St. Cloud, Jenifer Gilpatrick says you can go with a vintage look (recycled) - straight out of an 1980s closet or you can go with fresh modern ugly Christmas sweater.

"All the recycled they go in different price points, different styles, there's lots of vests, lots of kids. If you can't find an ugly sweater that you like you can get a new one, there's really funny ones, there's Happy Birthday Jesus."

If getting just one ugly sweater isn't fulfilling your need to look like Santa Claus threw up on you, Gilpatrick says you can get an entire outfit.

"We have lots of holiday dresses, holiday leggings, we have all the holiday accessories. So we have little jingle bell necklaces and there's ornament necklaces."

Men, women and children of all ages need the ugly attire for many different holiday events.

"I've seen people come in for work holiday parties, they do ugly sweater contests, families do them for family pictures now-a-days and a whole bunch of kids like to wear them to school to take pictures with friends."

If you can't find an ugly sweater in store you can also shop online at ragstock.com as well as thesweaterstore.com and swipeasweater.com.
