ST. JOSEPH -- Two women are hurt in a crash in St. Joseph Friday morning.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says the incident happened shortly before 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 75 and County Road 134.

Thirty-One-year-old Sadie Stommes of Avon was driving east on County Road 75 when she tried to turn north on to County Road 134. As she was turning, her car was struck by a vehicle heading west. The driver of the second vehicle, 22-year-old Lawanza Montgomery of St. Paul, fled the scene. She was found by St. Joseph Police near the American Burger Bar.

Both drivers were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
