MONTICELLO - Two women were hurt in a crash in Wright County Friday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened shortly before 4:00 p.m. Sixty-one-year-old Nancy Gapen of Monticello and her passenger, 47-year-old Victoria Kern of Zimmerman, were driving south on Highway 25 near Oakwood Drive in Monticello when their car was rear-ended by a Jeep.

Gapen and Kern were hurt in the crash. Kern was taken to Monticello Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Gapen was not treated for her injuries.

The Jeep was driven by 16-year-old Alexander Nelson-Jaquez of Monticello. Nelson-Jaquez and his passenger, 18-year-old Autumn Macfarland of Becker, were not hurt.
